Tips from the shop floor
Practical, honest advice to keep your vehicle running longer and save you money. No upsells — just what we'd tell our own family.
Don't ignore the check engine light
A check engine light is your car asking for help. It can be as simple as a loose gas cap or as serious as a misfire. The longer you wait, the more expensive the repair usually becomes. Get it diagnosed early.
Follow your oil change interval
Oil is your engine's lifeblood. Old oil loses its protective properties and accelerates wear. Follow your manufacturer's interval — and use the right viscosity for your vehicle.
Listen to your brakes
Squealing, grinding, or a soft pedal are all warning signs. Brake problems don't fix themselves — and they don't get cheaper. Have them inspected at the first sign of trouble.
Check your tire pressure monthly
Under-inflated tires wear faster, hurt fuel economy, and are unsafe. Check pressure when tires are cold, and keep it at the spec on your door placard — not the tire sidewall.
Don't skip the A/C service
An A/C system that's low on refrigerant is working harder and wearing out faster. A recharge is cheap; a compressor replacement is not. Have it checked before the Pensacola heat hits.
Keep records of every service
A documented service history protects your warranty, helps us diagnose faster, and increases resale value. We provide documentation on every job — ask for it.
Have a question about your vehicle?
We'd rather answer it honestly than sell you something you don't need.
